Alldeles för rörig för min smak! För många olika karaktärer att hålla ordning på gör att jag tappar fokuset alltför ofta。 Storyn är dock bra。 Spännande och lite annorlunda。 Slutet var riktigt bra och oväntat!

Another good one from Coben, I just really enjoy his stuff so much。 I don't think that I will ever be disappointed by his books。 This one did have a lot going on in it though, so it takes a bit more work to keep up with each story line。 A lot of bizarre twists and turns as well。 I also thought that there were a lot of 'gotchu' moments in this one that made we want to go back and read to find some kind of hint that a particular something was gonna happen, but Coben doesn't leave a lot of clues in Another good one from Coben, I just really enjoy his stuff so much。 I don't think that I will ever be disappointed by his books。 This one did have a lot going on in it though, so it takes a bit more work to keep up with each story line。 A lot of bizarre twists and turns as well。 I also thought that there were a lot of 'gotchu' moments in this one that made we want to go back and read to find some kind of hint that a particular something was gonna happen, but Coben doesn't leave a lot of clues in his books。The plot was good, or should I say plots, the characters were real as always。 i never knew what to expect from them。 Both good and bad, and very bad characters to enjoy。 Nothing or no one was as it seemed。 Great work! 。。。more

This book couldn't keep me interested for the full ride。 Yes there were bits that made sit up straight & pay attention but there were too many boring gaps between the good stuff。 By the time I got to the big twists I don't know if I even cared。 I was already thinking of the next book on my TBR list。 This book couldn't keep me interested for the full ride。 Yes there were bits that made sit up straight & pay attention but there were too many boring gaps between the good stuff。 By the time I got to the big twists I don't know if I even cared。 I was already thinking of the next book on my TBR list。 。。。more

A little datedIt was rather dated but more than that, it was a hokey plot。 Too bad because I like Harbin Corbin。

This was so addicting to read。 I love how Harlan Coben books always show the perspective of the “antagonists” as well as expanding the plot lines。

This is my first Harlan Coben book and I was NOT disappointed! Run Away is a tense and action-packed thriller about the lengths a father will go to to save his child。。。I genuinely felt like I was in an action movie while reading this - it’s not the quietly creepy psychological thriller variety that I’ve become used to recently, it’s more of a traditional and fast-paced story with deep rooted secrets and puzzling twists at every turn。 The characters were written extraordinarily well and I felt ge This is my first Harlan Coben book and I was NOT disappointed! Run Away is a tense and action-packed thriller about the lengths a father will go to to save his child。。。I genuinely felt like I was in an action movie while reading this - it’s not the quietly creepy psychological thriller variety that I’ve become used to recently, it’s more of a traditional and fast-paced story with deep rooted secrets and puzzling twists at every turn。 The characters were written extraordinarily well and I felt genuine empathy for all of them。 Simon Greene is a hero of a father and reminds me of Liam Neeson in Taken where he will go to the ends of the earth to protect his daughter。 You can only imagine the horror of your seemingly happy child suddenly falling into a world of drugs and violence and Harlan Coben paints this frightening situation so realistically。I think New York City was the perfect setting for this story - it’s beautiful at first glance but when you peel back the layers and delve into the underworld, it’s full of gritty, seedy activities。 Simon and his family are upper-class, white and privileged so to have that stark comparison to the city’s more deprived and dangerous side was really eye opening。 I also really liked the cult element of this story, it flowed together really well with the plot and made for extra shock factor。I think it’s safe to say my first HC read was a sure fire hit and I’ll definitely be looking to read more from him。 。。。more

The book was well well plotted, but the characterization was weak。 The characters were cardboard。 I felt like I was solving a puzzle rather than reading about real, live, human beings。

মাঝখানে কাহিনী ধীর হয়ে গেলেও শেষটা ভালো।আর শেষ লাইনটা。。。。。。

I like all Coben’s books, but often listen to them too。 This one just as mysterious as others。 I was more intrigued with this because I read it so fast after a slow start。 I had no idea what would happen。 Their daughter disappeared and her parents tried to successfully to find her。 Secrets were shared and not shared, but it all came together eventually。

My opinion might be biased as I've been reading Harlan Coben’s books for the past 8 to 10 years now。。。 but I love his writing style。 Run Away / Ne t'enfuis plus is a breathtaking psychological thriller。 As usual, it was a fast-moving, full of interesting characters novel。 I highly recommend this book。 My opinion might be biased as I've been reading Harlan Coben’s books for the past 8 to 10 years now。。。 but I love his writing style。 Run Away / Ne t'enfuis plus is a breathtaking psychological thriller。 As usual, it was a fast-moving, full of interesting characters novel。 I highly recommend this book。 。。。more

I purchased 3 books written by Harlan Coben over the last 2 years and this is first one I read and I was not disappointed。 Listen to me。。。this book had me hooked from page 1。 So much mystery and suspense with each story developing and being linked to the main story of Simon’s daughter, Paige, disappearing。 I could not figure out the connections until it was revealed to me。 There was comedy - sarcasm mixed in。 Harlan took Simon and I into a world of drugs, cult, lies, adoption, and murder。 🔪🔫

Nikki

3。5 stars - i thought there was a few too many characters and plot lines for this relatively short novel, but it was still very interesting and engaging。 the end got a little outside of the realm of believability, but i still enjoyed。

The 2nd Harlan Coben book I’ve devoured this week。 This man truly knows how to tell a twisty, intricate but easy to follow plot。 The story is told from 3 different viewpoints。 Simon。 His daughter Paige is missing。 She’s a model student turned drug addict and all Simon wants to is to reach out and help her but when he sees her she runs off with her drug dealer boyfriend。 Where is she? It was a fast read 。。 I didn’t want to put it down。 I felt like the book had some holes in it 。。 the story added up but I felt like I was missing something on occasion。 It was fast, probably intentionally, but thought the story could have been built up more。
